You can visit Mexico all year round. At any time of the year you will find something interesting here. Mexico is a sunny, warm country that offers a multitude of activities all year round.
You do not need a visa to enter Mexico. All you need is a valid passport.
The currency used in Mexico is Mexican Peso (MXN). It is written as a $ sign, just like the US dollar. In tourist places, it is also often possible to pay with a dollar (USD). However, we recommend that you carry pesos with you as cash. You will need it to pay for a taxi, bus or to pay at souvenir or fruit stands, which usually do not have payment terminals. In most shops, supermarkets and restaurants you can easily pay with your card. We recommend having a multi-currency card, where you can keep your previously converted money.
There is a small commission (around 40 pesos) when making a withdrawal at all ATMs in Mexico.
We always recommend that you bring essential items on our trips to protect you from the harsh Mexican sun: sunscreen, a hat or cap, a T-shirt covering your shoulders and sunglasses.
For trips such as jungle trekking and extended tours, we recommend that you wear comfortable footwear. Preferably light and airy, for example sandals.
On the other hand, if you are going to the Cenote with us, take a bathing suit and a snorkeling mask. If you don’t have one, you can rent it from us.
